I know loads of people must do this, so just need a quick yes or no answer from anyone passing through this post...

2004 (54) Seat Leon 1.9tdi 110 SX in platinum grey,

with 73992miles on it

and FULL SEAT service history,

with a screen price of £4495

Does that price sound about right? Or is it way off?

Yeah I thought it was a bit steep too, but just a good look on autotrader across whole UK and looks like the price is about right! (buying from a dealer by the way and not private as I need to part ex my current heap of junk!)

I've seen a few with similar miles and age for 500 - 1000 less, but they've had no service history, lots of owners etc.

Just wondering if anyone has a Leon similar to this kind of age and mileage that they bought recently? And if so, what price did you pay?

Ha, actually looks like could be getting bit of a bargain! According to the 'Glass' used car guide, that year of Leon with that amount of miles should be just over £5000.

Hmmmmm, think I'll be investigating this car tonight then!

if that's screen price i don't think it's bad personally, get a couple more hundred of that, a bit of warranty and i would expect some form of tax and mot too, on a diesel 54 plate VAG engine i say that aint too shabby

Bought it!!!!

Test drove it tonight, and it was perfect!!!

Few scratches and couple of dents, and the rear washer didn't work. But is all getting sorted, with full MOT and a years tax and new tyres for.... £3400, plus part exd mine for £900, so total of £4300, so just below screen price, but getting lots & lots done. So really really happy with purchase!

Will be collecting it on 1st July so that I get a full years tax rather than 11months. Plus gives them time to get stuff sorted on the car rather than rushing it all.

There were a few high mileage cupras out there... although I could afford the car.... the insurance companies said other wise! lol.

I wouldnt mate,
I got my Seat 1.6 sx 53 plate with 29000 miles for £3500 with no problems and im great condition..if i was you keep looking !!
