yes avi ive now got it fitted...gear gaitor replaced old one,handbrake gaitor slid on top of old one...
 
how did the handbrake cover slide ? with force or there is any bolt/clip?

and post some pics mate , don't be cheap :)

im full of the flu but u want me to go outside and take pictures of my new gaitors?talk about inconsiderate!!! its minus 3 lol ko mate i'll jump out in a bit and take a couple of pics;)

yeh the handbrake cover just took a bit of force to slide over the old one mate.
haha yeah it looks alot better than the old ones did to be honest....and the smell....:D real italian leather!:lol:

All you have to do is pull the handbrake cover forward (towards the dash). Very easy. Then the new gaitor slips straight over the existing plastic cover. 2 minute job guys.
 
you sure? i pulled it real hard and it didn't moved .
there isn't any clips there that can be broken?
 
I fitted mine over top of the original plastic one without removing the whole trim, undo the screws under the ash tray and lift it up.....gives you enough room to pull the gaiter down.

Fair enough. All i did was pull the black plastic cover of the handbrake towards the dash, put the gaitor over it then put the whole thing back on. Both ways work, and have the same result.
 
im taking my handbrake 'cupra' gaitor off...looks a bit cheap...gonna source a genuine one to replace my standard leon one.
