how did the handbrake cover slide ? with force or there is any bolt/clip?

yeh the handbrake cover just took a bit of force to slide over the old one mate.
haha yeah it looks alot better than the old ones did to be honest....and the smell....

All you have to do is pull the handbrake cover forward (towards the dash). Very easy. Then the new gaitor slips straight over the existing plastic cover. 2 minute job guys.
I fitted mine over top of the original plastic one without removing the whole trim, undo the screws under the ash tray and lift it up.....gives you enough room to pull the gaiter down.

Fair enough. All i did was pull the black plastic cover of the handbrake towards the dash, put the gaitor over it then put the whole thing back on. Both ways work, and have the same result.
didnt get the handbrake gaitor but bought the gear one and also a new knob ,
need to get it fitted now tho
