Costs $99 to register, so about £50 at the moment. And no, there isn't another way. If you want the logging features and the full version of the software, you need to pay for it.

I didn't think the full version would work with this ebay lead as the newiest verson 704 doesn't work with it

Depends what lead you have. My alpha_bid lead works perfectly. But, if it doesn't work with the trial version, it wont work with the full version and you'll need to buy a lead that does work.
