Good work Maz!
Keep us updated on how you get on. its not too hard to fit, just take your time to plan your route and how to move what you need to make it easier.
ill speak on behalf on jonjay lol, he said to me the sound still sounds the same, but it seems that little better throttle response aswell. it was a pain for them to get it down, the whole battery had to be removed and the plastic oem part below the light had to be removed aswell to allow the pipe to pass then replace the battery, this will be one of my next few mods aswell, oh and dk, it was me who turned aswell when you and jonjay was there, good to meet you mate
thats good results that it seems to suck alot more, i forgot about the ecu adapting as you said so all in all, good results, maybe a slight improvement on the rollers
I'm glad someone has tried this and can back up what i said from the start. Its a far better mod than when i fitted an induction kit to a previous car.
Well I am glad too. I got fed up of certain people saying these mods were not worth it unless you go BT. I must admit I was one of them at one point but its definately a worth while mod.
I will do a small write up on my progress thread but for the record this mod has made the car super smooth in the way the power comes in.
Its like there is no harshness in the way the car sucks in the air in needs. The only way I can describe it is that its like the car was gasping for air to breath with the standard intake. You would put your foot down and there would be a hesitation until the turbo had enough air and spooled. Now it instantly has the air and spool up and down is so smooth....The power now comes on stronger and more progressive.
