Just ordered a 1.6 stylance

I took the plunge today and ordered a 1.6 Stylance in Black magic with a parking sensor although they said if I want to change the colour to silver i can let them know before the weekend.

Should be coming for 1 March delivery as some where coming into the country then anyway.

Roll on March 1st!

I think so Mork but 2 things make me a bit indecisive.

1. I've got a Mk1 black LC. so that'll be 2 black Leons. Not much variety in there.

2. Black is a nightmare to keep clean as I 'm sure anyone that's had a black care knows!

I have had my 2.0TFSi for a week now, and it looks really good in black. Although having now seen one in the showroom in "ruby red metallic", that would have been my second choice, looks very nice, and the colour is nothing like the brochure

Mmmmmmmmmm I think I may leave this as it is, I have already put about £2.5Kof extras in it, with the satnav, xenons, and a couple of others. Must admit, it is an excellent car to drive compared with my Cupra

xenons are excellent but I just couldn’t justify the £800 for them.

Stuart do you have Bluetooth? If so does it work OK? I didn't go for it because it would have had to have been a factory order and I've heard it's a bit temperamental.

The headlamps on my 03 Cupra were rubbish, even with better bulbs, so the xenons were one of my first choice of options, and I must say they are excellent

I use a Nokia 6230i, and so far I have had no problems with the bluetooth, which comes part of the satnav, even read all my address book from the phone, NOT the SIM as they say it should I only use the phone memory.

I have tried to make and recive calls, using both the menu and voice option, and both work excellent.

Yippie, someone else it getting the 1.6, I thought I'd be the only one!!

I've the Stylance with parking sensors too...I doubt you'll be dissapointed.

Leaky, how do you find the 1.6 engine? I was a bit disappointed it wasn't FSI but oh well as they say.

I was a little dissapointed when I found out it wasn't the FSI, but as you say 'oh well'! You have to run the FSI's on super unleaded to get the best out of them anyway (both economy & performance).

As for the engine I have no complaints...it certaintly quicker than I expected and even though it seems to get a lot of stick on here I can fault it. It can cruise at motorway speed just fine and if you really want to go quicker...you can!

The most surprising thing though is the exhaust note, which is quite sporty...
