Just plain bad luck!!

I had the misfortune to be driven into the back of recently by one of our East European migrants. Not major damage, but new bumper required. Bit of the old whiplash and back injury, although mending nicely now. Anyway. I don't wish to bore you with all the details, but just wanted to pass on to our clan the string of, albeit minor bad luck which has followed.
The crash repair company, a national chain who I would prefer not to name at this point, managed to take over 3 weeks to fit and paint the bumper. Can't rush a good job I suppose. Collected my TDI Cupra when ready as they were unable to deliver back to me, unlike courtesy car which they brought to my home. Car was previously booked in for new tyres and it's first m.o.t at HiQ tyres in Southampton, who very kindly swapped my booking around to fit me in. Have to say the customer service at HiQ is excellent.
On leaving HiQ noticed a scratch on my lovely new paintwork. It was bound to happen sooner or later. Did think within 2hours of picking up car was some sort of a record. Is for me. Looked like it would polish out, and did not know for sure who was to blame, so accepted it as just bad luck. Was already running hours behind schedule as needed to get to Dorset.
Got home after weekend away Sunday night with no further problems. That was until Monday evening. Parked the car off the road at home without realising that the bottle bin had been put out for collection the following morning. Oh s--t!. Scratch all down one door. I know who to blame this time. Silly me. More elbow grease later and scratch gone plus a little touch up paint to the door moulding. Good as new. Well nearly.
Thought not much more to stress me now. Guess what. Arrive at work this morning to discover that one of my Richbrook spinning anti theft valve caps has been doing some spinning of its own and spun itself off. Probably still rolling down the M27.
Did I forget to mention that during my cars 23 days sabatical with the repairers some light fingered chav nicked my Honda Civic aerial. Must have had a touch of conscience though as they very kindly replaced it with some perished piece of tat. Failed to notice this when I collected car. Naturally they have been informed.
Moral of the story; nah! can't be bothered now.
