just won a wee ebay bargain!

had been looking for one n/s/f headlamp for so long and almost gave in and paid £55 for one the other day, glad i held off.

guy breaking an ibiza, pm'd him asking how much for the lamp, reply came as a suprise
"both headlamps and both matching indicators are in immaculate condition and no damage, can deliver the 4 for £40 if u like"

needless to say i went ahead with that, that means i can either sell on the lamp or keep it as a handy spare if any other wee ned/chav S**t decides to smash another one.

Anyone else been lucky with any wee ebay bargains?

bought my mk2 ibiza 'the Red-shed' on Ebay. cost me £140 quid and the bloke even left the face off CD player in

when i put seat ibiza into the search i dont tend to find much,but i do keep lookin for a bargin... specially since im after a austin mini project car ..

o yeh got 2 elecy window switches off a car from a breaker for £6 all in and i only needed 1 so i got a spare now. yay

Yeah, I'm always scouring for bits and pieces! So far for my Ibiza got my:
Roll cage
Bilstein suspension
Corbeau seat
Steering wheel
Steering wheel boss
3 sets of OE alloy wheels
Cherished registration plate

And got various bits for my Audi as well including alloys and a cherished plate.

Had my fingers burnt twice though - bought a set of OZ Superleggeras which he said fitted an S3 but had completely the wrong offset - fortunately he took them back. Also bought an FK coilover kit which was portrayed as fitting a quattro but was for FWD models only - managed to sell that on for what I paid for it on the TT forum.

i need some new suspension/coilovers for my car, taking the ones i have on now off at Xmas. find the Fk's too soft.

Yeah I remember when I needed a new Ignition Coil. GSF wanted £45 + VAT + postage. Emailed a couple of people on Ebay that were creapping Ibiza's/ mk3 golfs. Ended up getting the coil for £10 including delivery.

Also got my 16v spoiler for my old 1.4 from there.........for £25 all in!!!

speaking of headlights - has anyone had any luck finding the GTi headlamps? My o/s/f headlamp is cracked and full of condensation and I don't fancy paying the stealer a tonne of cash to get a new one.

This is what I get for working on an industrial estate where I have to follow quarry trucks in and out daily!

The bitzy's doing well -as I say, a quarry truck managed to crack the o/s/f headlight, but other than that, and a spot of damp in the dizzy, she's fine

Love her to bits!
