K&N or similar panel filter in cupra - worth doing?

thinking about changing the OEM panel filter for a K&N or sth like this:

worth doing or waste of time?

mine has a tuning box on it so will it free up the breathing a little?

For a few more quid you'd see more benefits from changing the turbo inlet hose and shoulder piece for a less restricted type.

Sorry to jump on this thread...Does anyone make better intake pipes for the 1.6tdi or other easily changed pipes. The web just seems to be a mess of other 1.6tdi engines.
