Hello to all. Can anyone give me their views on each manufacturer as i do not know a dam thing really about either! lol I got a 1.2S Mk4 and these are the 2 companies that i can find which do products for my car. Just wondering which (if any) makes the better induction kits? Heard a few things that K&N's tend to be oily?.....whatever difference that makes i do not know.....also what is the difference between a single cone induction kit and a dynatwist induction kit?

Cheers

Hello! I'm a happy user of KN airfilter dedicated to the serial airbox and I'm fully satisfied with it. I'd rather not experiment with other firms, as KN is the worlds leading company on this field and it's of really excellent quality. Single filter works well for 100.000miles (proved by me). Now my 200+HP ibiza is a third car in which I've installed KN and I don't even considered to switch to another brand. Remember to keep it oily!

I have a k&n on my PD130 tho makes no performance difference at all, does make it sound different, nice sound when driving softly, when driving hard the DERV engine over powers it anyway!

TBH, sound wise dont think it will matter which one to go for, and performance I also dont think there would be much init.

Mike_OBD had a induction kit on his 1.2 and tho made it slightly quicker in place, my 1.2 without would catch up at places, weird?! Mine had more torque, his had more BHP!

One thing it did do for his car was make it sound very nice whilst he booted it :D

As for over oil k&n - I got mine off a guy that had only done about 15k on it, so mine was fine :p
