Just wondered those who have standard turbo's who have been on Awesome GTI's rollers what power did you produce (wheel & fly). Also what modifications do you have?

With the following mods;

- Dynatwist Filter
- Samco TIP
- Forge DV
- Forge FMIC
- Blueflame Turbo Back Exhaust
- JABBA Re-Map

I got 207bhp @ Fly, 190bhp @ Wheels and 257ft-lbs Torque. I also had a knackered post-CAT lambda however I don't think this would make any difference to readings.

Be nice to find out what a range of 'chipped' Ibiza's make on the same rollers.

Comparing on Awesome's rollers should be pretty fair due to the Dyno Jet Rollers taking into account the changes in air temperatures and compensating for them.

Just thought it'd be an interesting post, Awesome's rollers have been far the most sensible reading ones I have seen, so thought it'd show the new people who think just a chip will give 210bhp what really is needed.

well...if i had your exact mods ( i basically do) id be happy with 190 whp but gutted at only 207bhp at the fly, i have heard in the past how awesomes rollers give good whp figures but the fly figures are sometimes abit low, prob just the way they calculate the loss through transmission

just as a guide i think its supposed to be around 15% for an FWD though dont quote me on that

190 @ wheels and 207 @ fly...

Thats not right, should expect a 40 BHP loss through transmission.

My K03s made about 190 @ wheels IIRC @ star.

Let's not start this again! Why should the transmission loss be the same as the total output of a small car? Where would 40bhp go- heat? Please do some searches before this is dredged up again.

hint: read some Awesome threads. ;)

PS -my car made 190 ATW at Awesome

Iam not saying those power figures are incorrect. Seems accurate and realistic to me.

What i am saying is i have never seen loss if only 17 BHP through transmission.

Sorry if this is dragging up old arguements, was just a comment.

My K03s pulled 190 BHP @ wheels and when drag and transmission was calculated it worked out at 230 BHP @ flywheel.

I think flywheel power should be higher than 207 BHP but its not important aas the RR measure WHP.

Yes, sorry too, Matt, didn't want to sound like I was having a rant at you. It's an interesting topic.

Yeah i'd agree with that. Most K03 remapped ibiza make around 150 ATW, so adding a K03s, FMIC, DP, etc, another 40bhp isnt unreasonable.

My ko3s only managed 165whp at marlins not sure why though as it had a full service this week and everything is nearly new on it!

Grrrrr very upset! 218.1 at the fly though? [:@]

Matt, my car on a K03 w/ Jabba mapping will actually pull past two local K03S cars on REVO.

 congrats! im in the same boat with some local lads who arent on this forum. Amazing what a custom map does aint it.
