K04 Excessive boost spike

I have a K04 on a Qpeng ecu, when i nail it in lower gears it boost spikes around something silly like 2bar (30psi)!?
Is there anything i can do to help reduce this? Ive heard it could be because the controller cannot keep up with the engines conditions... Could i fit a manual boost controller inline perhaps to limit the boost to a set amount, and then let the electronic controller fettle with it from there? or something else...?

You can run a MBC with your N75 to try to peg the boost spike or just run a MBC by its self.
