k04 Hybrid what they good for ?

want abit more power than what iv got already, im running a ko4 set up with all the trimmings and 310 injectors.

is it worth me goin k04 hybrid im at 271bhp now.

or was thinking of doin a deal ofr the 342bhp ihi on piston heads.

i know im looking at a grand for the hybrid what your thoughts please and what gains will i get

the turbo will spool up alot earlier,can hold boost better,the hybrid is just a stronger K04 an should get 300+

Should Spool up slightly later as its running a bigger compressor/turbine wheel.

so where did you get the quote of 500 from then mate? do you think il see 300 bhp with the hybrid ?

or do i cut my loss and but the ihi on piston heads my car and 1150 i offerd him, 342bhp on standard internals aint that over doin it ?

i think it was cr turbos! i looked into it a few months back, i threw all the numbers and who i spoke to away because i was planning on selling the car! my trip to santa pod last weekend has made me change my mind!

think you might need the tt225hp injectores .they are 386 or some 440.

haha i was thinking the same.. hasd a k03s... wanted more power so got a 270bhp k04 ibiza.....couple days later wants more power.....! lads crazy lol. an sure your 270bhp is good enough for ya now... mine is,

and yeh you need the 225bhp injectors which are 386cc... or bigger injectors- doesnt matter

iv got genesis 310cc injectors so the chap told me, fueling is more than enough so the rolling road/tuners said, as i rung them up to confirm they did the mapping and to make sure the last owner did not make up the rolling road print outs lol.

yea i get bored easily iv had atleast 30 + cars, thing is the one i have now does not have a single fault so maybe better to stick with a car i kow is sound and get my k04 hybrid than spalshing out on that ihi but it is nice lol
