Depends on the company doing the hybrid work as some of them change the housings altogether but as standard the K03 is slightly smaller - there's a few posts outlining the differences.

K03S has a 39.5mm compressor housing as opposed to 37mm on the k03, and also has a larger main vein and continuation.

If you are changing mani and getting a hybrid turbo which you will then need a remap for I would do the part ex yours deal you mentioned for that IHI. Better set up and it will cost you less.

To be honest he has probably not actually got that much torque but with hybrid k03s at 300bhp bending rods I expect a hybrid k04 would possibly do the same so rods would be worth doing. This obviously isnt a problem with IHI at this power level.

From a hybrid k04 its probably possible but will be pushing it and the power band at that level will be tiny. Thats why the IHI would be a much better car.

your the guy who owns the ihi are you mate?

Personally i would leave your car as it is. I think your at the limit of internals and im sure its rapid enough. If you want something quicker go ihi
