Are you having any problems shutting the bonnet cos the charge pipe is sitting a lot further away from the engine than it used to.

ill buy a guage or am i best off getting the kit you suggested?

Would it be worth me getting the lcd diplay too?

that one is on ebay...abit cheaper tho!

Do you reccomend one in the link (american) you posted few days ago?

i am happy with my zeitronix yes. have egt & boost sensor for it, does max level recall, datalogging output to pc etc

think ill get meself one of them then!

What was delivery time like?

shall i get the lcd display or just the basic package?

lcd else its pointless IMHO... nothing to keep an eye on without it.
I'm trying to think of another guage which I could have got which took my fancy... was a 52mm round jobbie, which was AFR and EGT in one unit, neat and compact....
will have a searchy again and post link if I find it.

here's one similar to what i remember..

VEMS_wideband_detail1.jpg

VEMs spec:

Wideband Oxygen sensor control and display.
Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensor display.
Display configurable to display AFR or Lambda and C or F for EGT
Selectable Narrow or wide band output to provide suitable ECUs with the standard lambda feed back they need for closed-loop operation.
RPM input to provide context for datalogging.
Boost or Throttle Position sensor input for datalogging.
5A solenoid driver, to provide triggered solanoid control.
Serial (RS232) connection providing datalogging to PC and Field upgradeable software.

>> seems to do the same things as my zeitronix

the aem is expensive! that site prices doesnt include the lambda sensor!!

So what do you rekon? im getting all confuzzled, not sure what one to get now!?

is there any gain with any of them? have you bought up the VEMs because it is a 52mm guage rather than the lcd box?

HoocH

VEMs looks good in that its a combined yet compact unit.
dont get me wrong i like my zeitronix.
relay switched output would be good if you could programme it as a warning of impending doom, under boost and afr lean for example, but not sure if it can do that.

you can buy an add on that is a warning siren!?

I think ill get the zeitronix and upgrade to the 52mm guage when its out!?

looks better than the VEM
