Also just remembered the TTS ecu can only hold one map. Makes having switchable maps such as APR/Revo appear a whole lot less appealing.

This is indeed a conundrum...

I'll take you for a spin over the tops round here and show you how much of a girl's car it is. Well, you'll be screaming like a girl anyway! ;) Had her on three wheels yesterday oops...

Well I booted it along a nice straight in the wet yesterday which would've had the k1 b*tching at me no end. The audi just went like an arrow, didn't flinch.

The only time I have got it unsettled is accelerating too early out of corners. Quattro doesn't replace the laws of physics.

I have to say, having taken mrs 2zero out this morning, it is damn fast and I haven't even redlined it yet, easing off at around 5k revs as it only has 120 miles on the clock.

Remap and downpipe this summer once I have got used to everything.

oh and LED DRLs are just the sex! :p

It often makes me laugh how owners of these new Audi's pay in excess of how much for the car? £30,000 or more? Yet still get a cheap thrill out of factory fitted £20 daylight running LED's.

Nice review all the same, am sure its a stunning car to drive. ;)

Oh wow. How anyone with a Leon could even begin to jusifty their car over this is a mystery.

Your car is B. E. A. YOUTIFULLL. Please remap it and get the full pontential though.

Anyone that's saying "I'm not really a fan of TT's, rah rah rah" Is just jealous. I'm sorry, but that's the truth. They want to convince themselves that their skoda/seat is as good and as fast as Mr Audi in his 40k leather machine, and if it is, then it's just as good.

Well I'm sorry. But 95% of us here are VAG reject pikeys, and proud of it. We like cheap, but quality performance at bargain basement prices. But that doesn't mean our cars are as refined, or as good. I mean, you can buy a 2k scooby, and make it faster than a ferrari. But, "It don't make it no ferrari though, innit"

Basically, appreciate your car for what it is, and what it can do, but don't berate others for what they have, or for what your car isn't. It's not the SEAT way!!

Number - In response to your rant...
Firstly, I at least agree with this point above, and see examples of this now all too frequently!

Infact at the time of buying MY Leon I had it down to 2 cars....
My FR, or a mint A3 S-Line I was also viewing. On paper BOTH cars were spec'ed out pretty similar, also very similar mileage, but the only difference, the Audi was around £2800 more expensive!!

So what would you be paying for, for the difference in price, the extra £2.8K for the Audi? Just a badge, with 4 rings on the front and rear of the car, indicating I drive an AUDI?

My Leon FR looks great and it IS individual - it DOESN'T look the same as all the generic Golf's, Astra's, and Audi's (most being REP cars anyway), that are seen cruising up and down motorways day in, day out...

Also finance didn't come down to my choice at all, and the £2800 I saved on NOT buying that AUDI is actually being better spent elsewhere (not car related).

No doubt the TTS is luxurious, and am sure its a special car to drive. But it is unfair to tar us all with YOUR same brush ;) , just because we drive a SEAT. Our choice might have nothing to do with finance, we might also have opted for SEAT as they ARE individual, sporty and fun to drive, and every third car you drive past isn't another SEAT of some flavour (unlike all the VW's, BM's and Audi's on the roads).

For the record, I WON'T "upgrade" (as you'd call it) to AUDI after my Leon - I will go Japanese, for a PROPER, pedigree performance car. ;) :)
