key fob battery

can anyone tell me if i need to reprogram my key fob if i replace the battery. local part shop said i'd need to take it to a dealer. is the guy in the shop full of cr@p?

I think the manual says you get summit like 30sec's to swap the battery out...but don't quote me on that.

I've changed mine....Still works. If you goto a dealer they'll prob charge you a lot and it'll be a waste of time considering its an easy job
