BBT in Thurrock fitted Koni SSK sports shocks and Eibach Pro Springs to my Cupra yesterday. Took a few weeks to get the stuff in and get a fitting date as they're always busy but have to say thumbs up for a top job guys!

Have to say I'm very happy with the results the car rides so much better already much less bounce and less body roll in the corners. Car is overall noticable lower front and rear but this is subtle and to a non expert still looks standard.

I really can't understand why the car doesn't come like this standard apart from Seat not doing a good enough job when testing the car and I guess for pricing reasons.

Seems to work really well with Revo Stage 1 (also done by BBT) which I've had about a month now.

More importantly both these mods are fully declared with the insurance company too with minimal cost until my June renewal. :)

Must get this done later in the year...... im never gonna remap this car until it handles better, ill end up in a hedge somewhere.

Have you noticed yet if the horrible trait of going light at the back end when giving it beans has gone?

And im assuming braking will be improved too with the lack of pitch, roll, and weight transfer?

Well I got Revo added and on the test drive (with the guy from the Revo dealer) it was all over the place and felt very unsafe. I decided there and then I needed the suspension sorting.

I haven't really had long enough to test the car out fully so I can't comment on any improvement to the std brakes that might of happend as of yet. For me knowing the std pads are a weak point I wasn't trying as hard as I could but it did still get a good drive. I could fade out the std pads with stock power on a spirited drive easily. In any case I've got some performance pads to chuck on the front when I get some F1 GSD3 fitted next month.
Overall there is night and day difference and it just feels more planted. The overall ride is far superior to std and the pitch/roll is all so much better the condition you describe I used to know all to well it certainly seems sorted now! Again with brakes I can trust fitted I'll be able to try next time I'm on the private test track. :D

If you don't mind me asking, how much was it? I take it BBT supplied it as well as fitting.

Yes supplied and fitted. A bit less than £600 all in.

Note If you fit exactly what I did you will be left with Koni Sports Springs to do something with.. like try to sell. Its cheaper to buy the Koni SSK60 kit than buy the Koni yellow sports shocks separately without the springs.

I also used to like the lack of nose dive under breaking......have you uprated the ARB's at all ?

No change to ARBs as of yet.
I'll let the suspension settle down over the next 1k miles or so and decide if I want to do these at a later date.
In any case I'm gonna fit new tyres and front pads before I make a decision on ARBs.
