hey RST

This is quit scary actually as i am not lookin for stiff ride, i think it would help in getting top speeds on a high way for example or doing hardcore racings.

I think i am going to keep it loose most of the time; do u think it was not that loose (i mean not that comfortable) as well as inconvenient handling? or it was fine both ways - when not stiff.

many thanks,

they were not to bad in softer setting still bit bumpy but the handlein was bit poor as it felt to sloppy but maybe tht was because i was used to it on the stiffest settin, so if i was u i wouldnt bother having it one th stiffest th way the will feel alot better thn ur standard ones just dont go from stiffest settin to softest settin or u'll reliaze how bad th handlin is, hope this helps mate

Koni Sport Lowering Kit

Just did my Leon Cupra myself, which is fine for the rears, but would not recommend doing the fronts, as "quite" (get in there you B***ard) a lot of effort is required to get the strut legs back into the wheel hubs.

Suggest you set Koni's to minimum or half a turn as I set mine to one turn and now need new fillings. Fine on Smooth, but as soon as you tackle Mr Livingstone's tarmac it's a bit rough.

I also went for Eibach Springs as they only drop 20-25 mm instead of the Koni's 40mm. The 20-25mm drop is sufficient to see me scraping the underside on speed humps.

Still, handles loads better and no more buckaroo at the back. Just had steering rack done as well, ouch!!

This is very helpful indeed... Thanks mate :)

hey hooper

I believe I wont be doing the fitting myself, no tools nor experince to do that. I will head for a garage fitting KONI since years, so equation is easy now ;)

As for my 1.6 liter, it is already by default a bit high, high, too high
hence, i need that 35 - 40 mm drop to keep it looking nice (now it looks as if a Subaru Forster heheh).

moreover, my use is intercity and downtown - no luck in tracks as you lucky guys have over there at UK. hence, wont be doing lots of hardcore racing NOR i have the power that i need to control

I am sure that it shall be better than my std one right now - they have passed more than 70K KMs (58k Miles) and handles funky a bit now.

Wish me luck all
