Kris's White Ibiza Cupra

Well after having lots of oter cars ive decided to go back to a MK3 Cupra.

I bought Dan from this forum's old white one.

Here is what has already been done to it (Taken from the last owners for sale thread)

KO3s with ko4 inside the turbo the turbo went to the turbo centre for all the work.
BAM 225 Injectors
S3 Maff Housing with Ibiza Element
Green Dynatwist Induction kit
Forge 007p
Leon Cupra R Fuel pump
Forge Actuator with yellow spring
G60 Flywheel
VR6 Stage 3 fast Road Clutch
De-Cat
Bosch super four spark plugs
Toyosprort FMIC
All new Piping and hoses
All Boost Hoses are now blue to match
All new T-Clamps
Supersprint exhaust system
Wiltec suspension
Hid conversion 6K
New Pressed Plates

Outside of car
Deep dish Caliber Vintage alloys
T-90 white in colour ( So bright in the sun hurts yours eyes )
Ferrari gunmental roof and wing mirror plates

Interior:

OMP Gear knob
Short Shift gear stick

Today i had a massive play with it -

Fixed the short shifter so it doesnt go into reverse unless you pull the tab up

Replaced all the Vac lines
Serviced the dump valve + Yellow spring
Serviced the acctuator + bent the bracket back into shape + took the 20 turns to many preload off (now no lag )
Took the inlet manifold off as the gasket was round the wrong way and all the bolts loose.

Fitted a Forge SAI blanking plate and removed all the pipes
Found a leak on the cam cover (no half moon seal in there)

I think the TIP is collapsing under boost as it feels very week.

Ill get a new one from work tommorow as the Forge are alot stronger as they are reinforced.

So all in all a good day , and shes running like a dream.

Off to badger 5 for a map soon to get it running spot on.

Few things to do tommorow

Fix the creaky seat
Take the dash out and find all the rattles and squeeks.
De-tango the rear lights
Find an OEM boost pipe so that i can refit our Intercooler as it fits nicer and flows alot beter than the toyo sports intercoolers.
Tweak the back box as it sits too low
+ Many others, she needs some love.

it will be 100% mint soon ;)

Running hell of alot beter , before there was massive ammounts of lag and black smoke where it was taking so long to boost up

Kinda like the old R5 turbos and cossies.

Now its got no lag atall spools up very very early.

But as i said its peaking at 21-22 psi then by 6k its down to 10-11 psi

I suspect the TIP is collapsing as its absolutly crap.id even go and say worse than the OEM.

cheap imitation of forges product without the strength. but ill get one from work soon.

Got to be it want my car back now lol

Glad it's with someone who will sort it and get great power out of it

Fitted a Forge T.I.P today so much beter, the boost still drops off but the car goes much beter.

Also changed the piping on the S3 MAF as there was a 60mm reducer .doh so now is alot more free flowing

Then i changed the filter from the green cotton filter that had rusted and looked like it was washed in mud ;)

stripped out the rear seats etc now looking for a cage, Buckets and carbon sheet to cover the door holes.

Alsp looking at getting rid of this awful toyo sports intercooler, its the worst fit ive ever seen. and the pipework is a joke (2 ply hoses and non swaged alloy pipes. :(

Then the task of smoothing off the front bumper where what looks to have been chomped out buy a large dog to get the intercooler in !!!!!

Also have a set of seats with my name on at work Stripped out th erest of the rear today , had to drop the weitec coilovers to the bottom pertch.

Must have taken out a shed load of bits as the car must have gone up by 1.5 inches.

Still a long way to go but its getting there ;)

Also have a set of blue Cobra Evolution FIA seats at work with my name on, Just gotta convince the boss to sell me them ;)

If this is the car I think it is, this is the one that gave me the idea to go with a grey colour roof instead of black.

Sounds like a very nice car and that you have some good plans for it . Cant wait to see some pictures of it.

I would love to have a Mk3, and especially in white aswell.
