Well after having lots of oter cars ive decided to go back to a MK3 Cupra.
I bought Dan from this forum's old white one.
Here is what has already been done to it (Taken from the last owners for sale thread)
KO3s with ko4 inside the turbo the turbo went to the turbo centre for all the work.
BAM 225 Injectors
S3 Maff Housing with Ibiza Element
Green Dynatwist Induction kit
Forge 007p
Leon Cupra R Fuel pump
Forge Actuator with yellow spring
G60 Flywheel
VR6 Stage 3 fast Road Clutch
De-Cat
Bosch super four spark plugs
Toyosprort FMIC
All new Piping and hoses
All Boost Hoses are now blue to match
All new T-Clamps
Supersprint exhaust system
Wiltec suspension
Hid conversion 6K
New Pressed Plates
Outside of car
Deep dish Caliber Vintage alloys
T-90 white in colour ( So bright in the sun hurts yours eyes )
Ferrari gunmental roof and wing mirror plates
Interior:
OMP Gear knob
Short Shift gear stick
Today i had a massive play with it -
Fixed the short shifter so it doesnt go into reverse unless you pull the tab up
Replaced all the Vac lines
Serviced the dump valve + Yellow spring
Serviced the acctuator + bent the bracket back into shape + took the 20 turns to many preload off (now no lag )
Took the inlet manifold off as the gasket was round the wrong way and all the bolts loose.
Fitted a Forge SAI blanking plate and removed all the pipes
Found a leak on the cam cover (no half moon seal in there)
I think the TIP is collapsing under boost as it feels very week.
Ill get a new one from work tommorow as the Forge are alot stronger as they are reinforced.
So all in all a good day , and shes running like a dream.
Off to badger 5 for a map soon to get it running spot on.
Few things to do tommorow
Fix the creaky seat
Take the dash out and find all the rattles and squeeks.
De-tango the rear lights
Find an OEM boost pipe so that i can refit our Intercooler as it fits nicer and flows alot beter than the toyo sports intercoolers.
Tweak the back box as it sits too low
+ Many others, she needs some love.
it will be 100% mint soon
