I've recently picked up a 24 plate Formentor VZ First Edition and was reading through the manual when I found the Lane Change Assist instructions. I didn't know it had this feature, but since it's got Travel Assist and Side Assist I thought I'd give it a go.
Problem is, I can't seem to find any setting to enable or disable it anywhere in the infotainment system. I've got convenience signals on, and both Travel Assist and Side Assist work fine, but I can't seem to make the Lane Change Assist work at all.
I've had a good look through all the Travel Assist settings and checked the vehicle settings pretty thoroughly. I've also looked for any "Auto Lane Changing" options that were mentioned in some older threads, but they don't seem to exist on the facelift model.
Has anyone with a 24/25 plate facelift Formentor VZ First Edition or VZ3 actually got Lane Change Assist working? If so, where exactly is the setting hiding and what conditions need to be met for it to activate? Have you actually seen the arrows appear on the dashboard display that it mentions in the manual?
I'm starting to wonder if this feature has been removed or changed on the facelift model, or if there's just a different menu location I'm missing. The older forum threads mention settings that simply don't seem to exist on my car - even though it is in the manual!
Any help from fellow facelift VZ owners would be much appreciated! Travel Assist and Side Assist both work perfectly, so it's just this Lane Change Assist that's got me puzzled.
