Late service = void warrenty?

I've been really stupid and missed my 26k service, it was due on the 5th of jan. Does anyone know if this will void my warrenty? Its up in April anyway.

How many miles has the car done and how old is it? So long as it's not stupidly late I can't see it being a problem. The only time you'd have trouble is if something failed on the car that could be directly linked to it not being serviced on time. In that case your warranty company may very well tell you to sod off. But that's very unlikely IMO.

I seem to remember that it was 1000 miles either side of the service needed that you could be on the service book without the warranty being void.

I WAS TOLD THAT BY A SEAT DEALER, AND ALSO AT A VW GARAGE.

its only over by 500 then, thats fine. the limit is 1000 miles.
