Hi @James_R - thanks for the information about update PV4RC.

How can I see if my car has this update - or indeed, which software my car is currently on?

I've already accessed this screen, but I don't think it tells me about PV4RC...

I have just had the PV4RC update done on my VZ3 (333). Initially i can see that their are a few improvements. The ambient lighting no longer flickers, my drivers seat now moves back when i open the door to allow easier access(not 100% sure this was an issue). The cruise control now works better and increments in 5mph steps when you press the + or - buttons. Just need to check the auto dipping headlights are working later, they have never worked since it rolled off the production line. I think the upgrades are quite extensive and the dealer had my car for 2.5 days to install this update!
Will see in due course if this fixes the rear tail light warnings i get randomly.

We only got our car 2 weeks ago and shows 2565. Everything appears to be working although driver's seat doesnt move back as door is opened. System tells me i have latest software. Ill enquire at dealership in New Year.

2768 is the latest version at the moment but needs installing with the rest of the software on the vehicle. I believe the seat issue *should* be covered.

Hi all, as mentioned in another thread my V2 Hybrid is currently at the dealer due to a Gearbox Error message (they haven't managed to get any error codes so I imagine we will get it back on Monday and be told to let them know if it happens again). Anyway the loan car we have has the latest 2768 Software (i have asked them to update ours but they haven't committed to that yet). These are the difference I have immediately noticed but there will be more. - all these are things ours currently doesn't do/have.

New Graphic shows briefly in the left hand side of Speedo as you change Drive Profile
ACC has an additional green graphic bottom right of the speedo showing distance chosen
There are an additional 4 or 5 Apps on the second screen (swipe right)
Seat moves on entry and moves to your position on start up
Light Animation doesn't always remain set to on - have to keep turning back on
Now this next one could be due to the User Profile as I haven't had our car long enough to look into this, so don't know what is saved in the profile and what isnt but even if I turn it off in Clima>settings the Steering Wheel heats up automatically on start up and the seat also turns on to level 1 (can't see this option in the settings)
Lastly sometimes it decides it doesn't want to start with the radio station that I had on when I last used the car(turned off on 5 live and restart the car ands it's on Radio 1)

Further to my post above I have worked out was is causing the Light Animation to reset.

Remember this is on the Loan Formentor (75) running the 2768 software.

Everytime I restart the car i get the message below, if you cancel the Animation is held, if you accept then the Animation is reset. Irrespective of clicking OK Cancel the message appears on every start.

"...message appears on every start." - that's highly annoying, isn't it? (well it would be for me, anyway)

Why on earth do they allow these things to be installed on your car without designing & testing them properly? Bl**dy muppets.
