So when did your turbo used to kick in? It's got oil around the pipe but is it normally the join? Dave quoted me £90 for the pipe in question!

How much oil are you talking about? I had a similar concern about my pd130 when i had it and it turned out that it was normal as the joints sweat a little. See my old rr post #219 onwards

Quite a bit more than that lol I rubbed my finger on it and my finger got caked in gunk! I think it's the join hopefully

Sorry for the late reply! The only place I would definitely expect to see oil outside the pipes would be the first join after the turbo as that one contains a silencer and is known to expand and leak slightly (leaks oil but not boost pressure) I would say you either got a dodgy coupling clip (I.e a lug missing) or the intercooler has burst and the oil isn't actually coming from the joint. Have you got any pictures of it?
