LC and LCR!

Hey!!!

My flat mates colleague came round last night and she made reference to my LCR not being the top of the range SEAT Leon. She was saying that her friend also has a Leon but his Leon was of a higher spec and it looked nicer. I'm guessing that she was referring to the LC.

I guess my question is whether you consider the LCR to be slightly overshadowed by the LC in the looks department? Which do you prefer the look of and which would you consider to be the top of the range Leon (not taking performance into consideration)?

What was the price difference between a new LC and LCR?

I guess your response may be “well the LCR has 18inch wheels and Brembo brakes!” but I’m of the opinion that this may not be obvious to the average person and anybody can paint their callipers red…

an lc higher spec'd than an lcr? hmm...dont really think so. Unless its had recaros put in it (and yours hasnt) and other aftermarket mods. The lcr also has beefier bumpers (although not everyones cup of tea), wheels and brakes....cant think of anything else.

Probably thinks a Mini One is better specced than a Cooper as its named ONE.

Obviously she doesnt know about cars. LCR is top of the leons no doubt!
When i told people that i was getting a Cupra R, alot of people didnt know what it was.

my older lc i think is better specked up than most. but they took those toys off in 2002.

Personal taste is everything here. What one person loves the next may hate.

Personally, I prefer the more butch and aggressive looks of the LCR over the 'pretty' and softer looks of the LC. But the next person might think the exact opposite!

man this could go on for ages i saw both i prefered lc to be honest in artic silver (grey) i like the fact people look and go well its only 180horses or dont know them at all, and lcr is like o thats the big dog, i like the underdog statement personally, either way they are an underestimated car i've had many joyous moments leaving people and them going what is that... just wait till i get BT then more fun lol

i love the lcr but at the time cash was tight as i just moved house so i settle for a lc i would say the lcr is the best car seat have made without a doubt and he is talking total rubish

early leons were higher spec in terms of interior.

later ones look better. the LCR best of the lot.

or maybe she is jealous because she has always wanted a lcr , and cant afford one , how can any one say a lc looks nicer than a cupra r , they blind , thats my opinion anyway
