Well i have heard on here that owners of tdi's have em installed - do a search.
U have to remove an undertray or something but it should fit exactly!

Look under your car, u will find a large-ish hole on each side of the car, like shown in the picture.
Thats where the brace goes.

Do a search to check, but i am sure others have it fitted.

Ah u see.... i am soooo good at this... LMAO

I am off to seat/vw today to see if i can get parts for sunglasses holder and w8 interior light mod......
Should be interesting to see what happens :D

Im lost....... I have the LC and will be ordering this lot in the next day or so but im lost as to what parts I need and the part numbers required. I know someone said earlier what part numbers were required but later said they were the wrong parts. HELP

Yeh i would like to know and how much these go for now as usually seat have hiked the price up[:@]

The bar is the same: 8N0199403B. when i ordered mine i asked for the riv nuts and the guy found them, dead easy to fit it doesnt need a special tool just a normal socket or spanner.

Be warned the price has gone up since this post - it's now almost 40 quid for it! It used to be under £20. If you had some nice angle iron i reckon you could make it yourself as it's only a 2mm thick flat metal bar!

f00k me - £40???? what a markup! lol.

Mind you, the original post is over 2yrs old tho....

Seems like all these mods have gone up in price:cry: Does anyone have any pics as i might knock one up.
Cheers

With that in mind then perhaps our cars with these mods already on should also increase in value to compensate :)
Shame it doesn't work like that though :(

I laughed when i picked it up from the Dealer, it was about 45 quid including the bolts etc etc - 50% markup in 2 years, not bad eh! Apparently it's to do with branding, there's some mods you could buy back then that don't even come up on the parts database for lesser models - like the W8 light.

cheeky stealers, when I read the first lot of posts and read it was £20 I was well chuffed, didnt see the dates :(

£40??!! Sheesh!

Mine was less than £20 when I got it from Audi Edinburgh about 18 months ago, thats a hellish price hike. And as I'm sure you'll have found out, you only need the bar, the bolts and the rivnuts, the washers listed on ETKA don't fit.

SEAT Part nos:

Bar: 8N0199403B
Bolts: N 10467901
Rivnuts: N 90914701
