LCR 5mm spacers all around!

Hi there!

My local tuner is doing a Brembo GT(not org. set brembo's) upgrade on my car, and it's doing my head in!

The calibers are so much wider, and even though my alloys are 18" 8,5" et 34 Projekt Zwo, they are still hitting the calibers!

So we are about to try out some 5mm spacers, which will be fitted in each corner!

But. how will this affect the fenders etc? will hit the fenders on full turn etc??

I wouldn't have thought 5mm would effect the fenders etc. how much do your wheels stick out just now?

surely that's down to the wheel inner design itself then as the diameter is large enough probably too large and wide with fat spokes for extra strength

what are the brembo's off?

standard wheels are 7.5x18 et38 iirc

Brembo kit, not fitted to any specific car but very similar to the LCR ones

i've run 15mm front and rear spacers with standard lcr wheels with no problems at all if that helps..

did you use the standard wheel bolts or did you have to get longer ones?

haha sorry ask a stupid question get a stupid answer. would you be able to use standard bolts with 5mm spacers or would needbolts again?

longer bolts everytime, better to be safe than sorry
