LCR - 70mm BMC CDA

Can you use the 70mm version of the BMC with an enlarger rubber fitment to take it to 80mm neck of the maf connection?.

Someone on a Corsa forum is selling the 70mm verison with the enlargers/reducers for £85 new and delivered.

Will this cause the maf to throw a wobbly?

Doubt it'd fit in the engine bay if you need adapters. Plus you'd be reducing your air inlet to 70mm which defeats the point of fitting a free flowing air filter.
