Over 80miles of motorway, a-road and twisties

I am absolutely disgusted with myself. If I tucked my bits even further between my legs I reckon I could hit 40mpg

Thants simply shocking there must be something wrong! Have you tried driving everywhere in 3rd or 4th only? Should help you get that figure down to a more realistic 23mpg

Dear o' dear.... theres a red line there for a reason you know....

I got 34mpg on a 180 mile trip the other day. That was doing *slightly over* 70 nearly all of the way (A14 to M1 J38), so I can believe that is possible if being very careful.

usually i average 14.4 on my way to work

 - How do you do that? I drive on B roads to work, stopping every other mile for junctions etc, often giving the full rev range a work out subsequent to the junction and still get 24-26mpg.

Look closely at the picture the engine is off so its not using any fuel so maybe thats why:p im lucky if i see 23mpg at all but then these are cars made for driving not crusing in top:funk:

Only playing thats good mate

It’s easy to get it to show silly figures. Just wind her up to say 100mph, take it out of gear, hit the reset button and coast! :D

I thought i was doing well, today i managed to get it to 34mpg (highest ive ever had it) normally its 20-25 :)
and a full tank only says 270miles (which now says 355 miles :D:D and ive already done 60miles and its still up on 355) which im chuffed with :)
