lcr fault codes???

Just out of curiosity i had the vag com connected up and had three fault codes:

17704 P1296 cooling sytem malfunction
16946 P0562 power supply low volage
16396 P0012 Bank 1 camshaft malfunction

I know why the volage was low- tunes too loud for too long! But why the other two? Does anybody know what they are more specificly and should i be worried and getting straight to my local seat??? Why do i not have an engine mangement light on, could it be faulty?

I'm fairly sure that you can get the camshaft position error recorded when you have been enjoying some spirited driving. I've had it on mine once or twice, nowt to worry about.

The cooling system one shows up on that wikki as "Error in Mapped Cooling System" which is definitely the coolant temperature sensor needing changing, do a search, loads of posts.

cheers but what does it really mean? is my baby going to die on me? should i keep driving her? could it have anything to do with my bmc induction kit ive recently had fitted? ive got it booked into my local seat specialists to do a full diagnostics on her.

Clear it and if it dont come back after a quick drive forget about it.

ok now the strange thing this just got my car back from 'the specialists' and they said the only fault that was logged on there was the coolent sensor???

Funny that they didnt notice the two perminant faults- 1. ignition barrel, as the immobilisor is glued to it for remote starting purposes and 2. standard alarm siron, as the cambus wires are cut so you cant hear it when i use the clifford alarm!

I asked about the bank 1 camshaft thingy and they said it probably cleared itself! Can this happen??? Engine management light has stayed out now for the half hour journey does this mean all is probably fine???
