Im also undesided as to what intercooler to get! What we need are some back to back tests carried out! My LCR is completely standard yet my brothers LCR has this cooler blueflame, and AMD remap and its very quick, so i have have to plug the scan gauge in to both cars and record recovery time etc between standard cooler and txa!

I had this TX Autosport kit on my Astra VXR and that made very good power, in some cases another 15bhp more and 10lbft torque over other astras with the forge!

Im going to go for this kit i think! Payday tomorrow! Whoop!

This isn't a cheapy cooler. It's designed for the lcr and if I may add, Tom on this forum who also has the same kit ran some befor and after logs of intake temps.
Before were high 30s and after were low 20s and even made 20. If that isn't good enough then I don't no what is, also turbin is running this kit at stage 2 and loves it.

Spot on Sam. Couldn't have said it better. Great bit of kit.

Can't wait to go stage 2 now :)

is fitting the TX autosport cooler quite straight foward without any need for modifying??
did you need to do away with the fog lights??

either way this is defo the route i'm gonna go down, spotted the cooler on ebay about 6months ago but no one new much about it. its only recently i've started seeing folk saying its well worth its money over the forge kit :)

infact i remember a thread i started on here and i was told not to go with it as it didn't look worth the money
