LCR front grill removal

Is there a 'how to' to remove the 3 part front grill on the LCR I have searched but not found anything, I want to paint it all gloss black as well as the Seat badge.

If its the same as the LC its plastic welded to the back of the bumper.

To remove it you'd just heat the tabs up with a soldering iron and lift the grille off.

As above, the in fill ontop is removeable as you will have seen but the rest if plastic welded in

Are the bumper grilles the same too?

One of the first things ill be doing when i get my Leon

I didn't think it would have been that hard to get off, do you know how many weld there are?

Its not hard to get off once you've removed the bumper.

I'd say 10 tiny little welds.....we say welds it more melted tabs.

dose anybody know where i can buy a grill for an LCR i need a new one, as the seat badge has come off but i want a whole new unit and cant seem to find anywhere that sells them??
