i love my lcr its the best ride i ever owed and belive me ive owned a few babys but i cant stand my front grill . is there a upgrade for it. i dont like the s badge either. also can i get hold of a headlight conversion any were a quad one or somat. can any one tell me the best cheapest things to do for sound. i got the power but not the sound. its revoed and quick as hell. guy ibought from recons 276bhp but no proof says he rolling roaded it 9 month ago. dont think it has any other mods not that i have looked thou. it would make mince meat out of my 265bhp scooby i used to own so it cant be far off 276. what do you think.? i was told to run on high octain fuel so i have been do you agree wiyh this ? and im diein for a nice loud dv but i read its not good for my lcr. any other way round this ? one last one is my feet slip on my pedles when wet does any one else get this .thanks for your time

hello mate, nice choice of car there,

1. dunno about the grill, but some people tint the S badge black

2. your best bet is getting a HID kit H7 6000k from here http://www.hids4u.co.uk/product.php?productid=63&cat=16&page=1

3. if its revo1 260 bhp and revo2 270-280 bhp

4. defo run the car on 99 stuff (tesco/v power)

5. you can buy the forge splitR which gives a bit of sound but most peope stick with the 007p which is quiet but gives the best performance gains...also you can reverse the 007p and it makes a chirping sound (which you may like--i didnt lol)

6. my feet dont slip lol

Agree with all Bret says and to add the rubber dimples can wear on the peddles so maybe replace rubber part of,it you've just got the car the seller may have cleaned them or sprayed with silicon so they look nice try washing them in Fairy liquid to remove it and leave them a bit stickier?

thanks for that. think thats what it is them little rubber things on my peddels. if it was stage 2 wouldnt it have a few more noticeable mods ? just discovered a smoothed air box and green panel filter. so does no one know of a quad headlight converion ?

What mods does it have, really struggle to get 276 without everythin and a custom map!
Basic Stage 1 LCR will beat a Scoob @ 265bhp so doesn't mean its over 270.

alright mate, i have the badgless grill on the front of mine, i think you can get them off ebay, or these car mod sites, just have a look around mate, but you can definetely get them

like i say bcm all i know of is the smoothed out air box. cant see anything obvious. it seems real quick for just a stage 1 and no other mods though. e.g i left my mate on a rolling start and his astra vxr is 297bhp rr 2 week ago. it left him for dust. gonna have to get it in to awesome gti and get them to look over it see if there are any mods i cant see. and get it on rr.........

mate, you can get your remap tailored to what fuel you use...imo for these sort of cars 98 ron and above (using tesco at the mo and it seems miles more responsive than v power) is the best option...

my car was mapped for the good stuff....but even on a standard car SEAT recommend the good stuff...you will find that the car is a little more hesitant and reluctant to rev in the higher range with the cheap stuff..on a mapped car this will be noticed more..

it wont damage the car, but for the sakes of around £4.50 extra per tank, just get the good stuff

I ran mine for a year on 95 ron with NO problems, I also ran it on 95 ron after I had it mapped with NO problems.
I have tryed BP Ultimate and it ran like a bag of s**t. I now use Sainsbury 97 ron and it run's fine, personally I dont see the point in paying extra for overpriced fuel.

I'll try a couple of tanks of Tesco 99ron before the map and see what it's like. It's 90p per litre now down my way so it's worth a try.

yeh bud try it, i should of used it ages ago seems much more responsive whereas the v power felt quick one day then not so quick the next day..

there was a thread somewhere where 102, tesco 99 and v power were all compared and the 99 was the most consistant
