LCR motorway noise, is it common?

Just bought a 55 Black LCR and driving back on the motorway, I noticed a droning noise that was related to road speed, is this common or is there something wrong with car?

Mine seems fairly quiet on motorway but my car before lcr was a ctr which was fairly noisy so I am just comparing the two

Wheel bearings?
Try weaving car to see if this changes to note if there is a side to this noise

Could be tyre noise too.

i do lots of motorway driving an when changed tyres sounded louder then before, what tyres running?

are you running Goodyear eagles? or Toyo's?

I sometimes get that sort of noise on motorways i put it down to the side winds going across the car maybe wrong.

could be road surface, i get all sorts of noises depending on what motorway on, just turn up the sterio

Do you notice the noise on "a" roads etc too? I had the same turned out both rear wheel bearings were fd!! Not difficult to change or that expensive either but you need a puller

i was going to say that, diferent types of tarmac resonate through my tyres differently at motorway speeds. Theres a patch on the M3 north that caused me to pull over once because i thought i had a major issue

My old goodyear (GDS3) F1's on concrete (some stretches of the A1) were terrible
