Hi all, I think I have a problem with my power steering. Sometimes it feels light and unresponsive, but before when I was driving home it was perfect with a nice firm feel to it. This happens quite frequent. Tracking has been done and ok. Is there any common faults with the power steering pump or switch in the pump that anyone knows of?

Thanks

What tyres you running? As cheap tyres can cause poor steering response on the LCR I've found. I bought mine with Fullrun crappy things on the front and now and then floated about with a poor feel in the steering wheel.

Hi there. No I use vredestein sessanta's all round. It's weird how it comes and goes. I could almost describe it as lack of grip, but it happens while I'm doing 30 around the town. It has been good and bad on the same road that I use to go to work so can't really blame the change in road surface.
