LCR "Recaro Seats" Question.

You'll notice I've put that in speech marks. This is because in my current search for an LCR I've come across a few cars where the description suggests the car has recaros but the pictures show otherwise.

Could someone please tell me if these (first pic) are the only optional Recaros you get for the LCR?

I often see these being described as recaos too...

...is that right? are they both Recaros or are the second ones standard?

i have the standard seat in my LCR, i don't think they are recaro's. I may stand corrected but i think they were an optional extra from new, and they were embroidered as in your first pic.
The standard seat are fine though, i wouldn't worry to much about the recaros, IMO

The second ones are the 'cheap' rebadged standard seats. The first pic is the recaros, you can tell them because the headrest recess is cut into the top of the seat.

Also IIRC the full recaro option comes with proper rear recaros too making the car into a 4 seater

The difference in these seats in obvious to me; as mentioned, the recessed headrests, bigger lumber support... "Recaro" logo.

But I had to ask as I know Recaro do unbranded seats in other cars. But it seems the general opinion is that the top ones are recaro and the ones below are not...?

Ok one more question – I’ve seen an arm rest in some cars,... no infact i've seen different types of armrests (like the one in the second pic), were these an optional extras or aftermarket mods??

One is just an LCR sports seat and not Recaro, the other is a Recaro seat for the LCR The 'R' does not stand for Recaro.

Extras and available aftermarket both as OEM and cheapo mods. There was an LCR recaro one as well complete with red stitching too
