when washing the car tonight, i noticed the splitter isn't pushed up into the bumper properly. I did try giving a little push, upwards to see if it would go back in, but it didn't. I didn't know how hard i could push it before breaking something though.
Looking at it, it likes it should just push upwards though. Is that how the splitter is attached in the middle, just pushed up hard into the bumper?

Yeah mate, its a tight fit. ive been through 3 splitters now and find the best way to put a new one on is using the jack and a block of wood, pops it in nicely:)

I had the same problem with my first splitter. Looked like it had worn badly on the "slot in" bits. Using a jack to pop it in was the only way it would fit back in! Ive not had a problem since getting my new one. I can push it in using just my hands! :funk: useful considering some of the car parks round here!

Get a new pristine splitter dude :D

i got mine for £22 quid from seat.
mine went in dead easy i got some wd40 sprayed on the clips then pushed the back of the clip (2 middle ones) in first then a bit of force and popped straight in. pliers got the old one out and sqeezed the clips in and it came out easliy.
