I went into Seat today to buy a new splitter- as mine has cracked and the price increased, YESTERDAY!

It's now £41ish.

The helpful man behind the counter said that I should've come in yesterday!

Thats total nuts - rrp went from just over £20 plus vat up to £31.54 plus vat :-(
We dealers dont get a list of what prices change at each update so we get surprised just as much as you guys . . . . .

Thing is, these are not just fitted to Leons seen them on Astra GSi's and a mate put one on a C4 coupe!

Im not defending the price rise, but you will probably find that part of the reason is that SEAT are buying them in much less quantities from the manufacturer than they used to when the model was more current. Its going to cost the factory more to tool up for a run of 500 than for 5000 . . . . . .
Same happened with Mk3 Ibiza Brembo calipers - seems to be as demand drops, the cost of keeping parts supply goes up :-(
