LCR Splitter

The LCR splitter has become a common mod within the ibiza sections, mk2 and 3 aswell as our very own mk4's. Yesterday I removed the one from mine (Edbutlers old motor) and think it looks great without it, much cleaner looking! Dont get me wrong it does looks smart and it lends itself very nicely to the facelfit FR bumper.

Whats peoples thoughts on this mod? Am I the only one who likes it without?

personaly I reckon it finishes the bumper off great, hence why its such a common mod. Anyway there are litrally hundreds of threads about this, do we need another one?

I think if your car is low enough (which it is because ive seen it!) then it could look ok without a splitter. But mines definately staying on, unless its gets removed by a speed bump!

I'm the same if you have it really low then it could catch, Ive got a pic of mine from the side as standard and looks so high from the front think it will be staying till it gets slammed lol

The ride height does play a part in it, the splitter does after all give the front that lower more aggresive appearance.

Iv orderd 4 as well mate, the dealer had never orderd one before me lol. (only lost 1 on speedbumps)

How can you possibly loose a splitter on a car that isnt lowered? mines really low on 16's and has cupra bumpers and mines been on for nearly a year now. You must have found the biggest speed bump in the world lol

Ive also thought that if mine comes off i'd most likely run it over which will probably end up in a few flat tyres!

I put one on mine yesterday. Took a few attempts to get the right distance from the front of the bumper to fit, but I love the look of it. Looks so much better with it imo.

well the curbs at work are rather big and that gave it a nock. O and the speedbumps round here are HUGE mate, very few speedcameras and a whole lot of speedbumps

T.spark's has the prefacelift bumper with the LCR splitter.

Not worth it selling it to you mate, there only a few quid at the dealers

Never ripped mine off though and mine lowered 75mm
