I`ve used P Zero Corsa 235/40/18 on 8.5 " rims since I had the IHI fitted.

These come in two varieties:

1 Road type[supercar]

I use the grooved fronts over the winter for better water clearance

2 Track type[road legal]

I use these all round, during the summer.

The fronts last approx 10000 miles with cautious use:rolleyes: - under 6000 miles with spirited use:cry:

They grip very well!! - but even with the diff and this sticky rubber, traction can still be a problem in anything less than ideal circumstances. :)

I have run F1's for about 60K on my last car and just put them on my 18's, budget tyres are absolutely hopeless in the wet, could try Pirelli Pzero Nero's they are rated very highly by those that have used them, i have a set in my garage and they will go on after the F1's have had it

Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 (Extra Load) on mine all round Mitchy. Had them done in January, the grip is simply stunning in both wet and dry, I cannot wheelspin in second even in the wet (my car ain't quite running the same power as yours mind).

I'm looking forward to some nice summer conditions to see what they are really capable of.

Bit pricey but supposed to last well. I'll report back.

I put Continental Sport Contact 3 on mine and I find them a lot more precise than the goodyears, that were on before. To me they also seem a bit more planted on the road, not sure how long there gonna last tho'!!??

Check out www.mytyres.co.uk for some reveiws of different tyres

Good Luck

As already mentioned - try PZero Nero - ran these briefly before I sold my R and was very impressed... can't comment on life tho.

Vredestein - wasn't impressed with these... imo not suited to the car.

Eagle F1's were ace - wish I could have kept hold of teh car longer to see how the Nero's fully measured up...

i find Toyo T1-R good comprise for grip and wear... get about 12-14k from fronts and over 20k from rears.

you may or may not know i have recentl;y got myself a LCR, however the tyres will need doing sooner rather than later, so this is some good info for me. But, to save me going outside in the cold to look, what size are the tyres on a LCR?
