Hello,

My wheels are a little bit damaged, so i want to respray the wheels.

Any of you have a picture of a black LCR with dark or antracite wheels

thanks

Ive been meaning to do mine in antracite for a while now, hopefully get them done next paycheck.

If i get them done soon i'll post the pics.

Apologies to anyone who has the darker wheels but I think this looks chavvy / Max powerish. The LCR wheels come slightly smoked as standard and for me this looks perfect.

your opinion mate, think the fact that there 10+ grand cars, kind of throws the chavieness out the window tho. Antracite isnt that dark anyway.

Mine on track at Oulton Park last year

Got some more pics that will show wheels better but can't post up till tomorrow

Finish is Porsche Anthrasite Black

been thinking of shadow chrome instead of black, as they are a little lighter in colour, just think black wheels- black car look to heavy if that makes sence????

Looks good, what hapened to your frount splitter mate?

Havent had one for about a year now as BBT's had one in for me at one point but forgot to put it on whilst doing some other stuff and I've never got round to sorting it out since then

Course I've now clipped the bottom of the bumper itself so not sure the splitter will now fit on anyway, will see in due course when it goes in for service

Pic above doesn't show it but mine are sort of dark Grey, not Black

If your going Black on Black you need a silver rim to break up the wheel from the tyre imho, hard to find such a wheel that goes over Brembo's tho, I know, I tried!

Darth, i wasnt having a dig chap, :) was just sorta saying my view, im doing battle with this dilemma at the moment too, i though black but as i said...and the Brembos are a real problem, i agree! I know the style of wheel your on about, and they are lovely, as you say, just need something to break the whole dark thing up....

I am swaying to having them done in either shadow chrome, OR VW reflex silver..but just cant decide at the moment.....i love the LCR wheel, but would just like ot do something different with them..but thats not easy as most stuff has already been done...ahhhhhh..lol..

I'll post some more tomorrow which are better pics and will show the wheels closer up

Unfortuately all are moving pics, wheels are for track only so not on at the moment othewise I'd post some stills

This is very similar to what I have

It's fine mate, I knew you weren't having a pop

I actually very nearly went White on the LCR alloys as no-one I've seen has done that but seemed daft for track alloys given brake dust etc

yeah you would be forever cleaning them, i have seen white on a red LCR, looked ok, not my taste but not to the point my eyes were offended....were you at the Lyddon trackday, or brands?

I actually meant White on Black mate but I like White on Red personally so reckon that would look good too. Not seen anyone do it with the original LCR alloys tho

I was at Lydden, good day :)
