The 3" downpipe and cat-back from piper is quite well priced. If you use the standard cat your more likely to pass emisions tests too.

I think Blueflame have increased in price over the ebay price due to the new system being fitted with there race cat.

Does the uprated exhaust system have much effect without the stage 2 map? From what I've heard the diffence will mainly be sound and quicker turbo spool.

Great Fit and looks. Excellent performance gains, sounds great but it is loud on tick over and when you are driving at very low revs it can boom a little. if i had my time over i would probably go for a BF down pipe and cat mated to a miltek resonated system or the full piper system. The BF has a very nice tailpipe though and fills the bumper cutout well.
If you have an LCR the Milltek just doesn't look right though. Is the Piper quieter than the BF then? How do Jetex compare?
I know what you mean about the miltek but i've heard a few and they are well made.
The Piper one is 2.5 inch unreasonated for they system but 3 inch for the DP and cat, so should be less boomy.
Jetex.... i just don't like the look of the build quality of the pipe work as the bends look well rough.
Oh yes, just seen the photo on their site. And the tail pipe doesn't look all that great either. I think Piper and BF are probably the best options.
Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but can you explain why you dont think the Miltec looks right (ie does it not fit the bumper properly)?

I think its more the shape mate, its got flttened upper and lower edges to the tail pipe where as the BF looks standard, apart from being a bit larger.

I'm in need of a new exhaust at some point. I was planning on going for the Miltek (Awesome are just down the road from me)...I'm now wondering whether it would suit my car :S
I did have a look at one last time I was at Awesome and it didnt look too bad but I'm yet to see one fitted.
It's all down to personal preference really, but as Lee said the Blueflame and Piper exhausts look better IMO.

Just noticed that Demon Tweeks stock Magnex Exhausts for the LCR...Anyone ever seen one?
