Lcr wont start

Hi fellas
After washing my car yesterday i went to start my car nd it fired but i had no throttle nd was running rough i turned the car off and tried to restart and nothing. Its turning over but just not firing like its not gettin any fuel ive checked fuse 28 and im getting 12 v but at the sender unit under rear seat im not getting any power is there a relay controling the pump or is there anything to check first
Or is this totally the rong direction is this something else

Also i noticed while trying to start the car afyer a few seconds the oil light on the dash start to flash and beep
Nd sometimes the eml light comes on but resets itself

I bought a fault code reader for £20 off eBay (best purchase yet) I had a very similar problem, and it was my crank position sensor.
Not a cheap fix, but once sorted, all back to normal. See if anyone has vagcom in your area, or purchase a fault code reader

Ive got a snapon diagnostic tool but sadly i crnt connect to the ecu which is why i think the ecu is goosed is tgere any way of checking it without buying a new one

It might be worth posting on an old topic, I'm not too sure, has your adapter for the reader a 16pin? You can pick up ecu's second hand, however, I'm unsure If they are compatible on other cars etc, sorry I couldn't be more help :-(

Trouble starting always brings up faulty coilpacks as the culprit.

a possible cuprit I mean
