Recent purchase Exeo sport tech 2012 estate. When I fill the wah bottle, it pretty much all runs out immediately. Am I correct that the washer reservoir is located under the wheel arch even though there seems to be a small reservoir under the bonnet attached to the inner wing? Is it easy to remove? I assume the pump and tube attachments are at the bottom.

Hi, had a problem like this on my ST, my rear wash took a long time to come through. Seat wanted £300 to investigate, said all the front of the car had to come off. Had a look myself, you are correct in saying the main part of the bottle is under the wheel arch lining and once all the necessary screws are removed, the main part will pull away from the bit under the bonnet (there is a seal between the two parts to stop leakage and will go back after). On mine I found that where the feed to the rear wash is clipped to the bottle on manufacture, there must have been a weakness which later blew a tiny pin hole. You can find genuine VW wash repair kits (mine cost £9.99) on the net, cut out the damaged bit of pipe and join. This solved the problem and for 2 years has worked well....Julian
