Yes, was the best I could find at the time on 'Contract Hire and Leasing dot com' for the mileage, which is why I went for it. I'm really happy with the deal, cheers Mr Ratty (you sound angry;))

Haha. Longstanding nickname is Ratty. Obvious given my surname.

Yes that's where I saw my deal with Lookers.

I'd love to get a lease, however I'm waiting for the Cupra 300 to come out next year and I'll get one of those as I'd really love a Cupra. For now I'll stick to my FR :)

There was a thread on here not long ago about cancelling your PCP within 14 days and keeping any contributions/service included in the original deal, saving you a few thousand potentially. It may be worth investigating that also - just to cover all bases.

They have on order for delivery around mid to late Nov.

I do know that Cars2 Wakefield have the Alor Blue that I backed out of. I was willing to pay if no others, it's just the deposit really that's high.

Not too bad, I had rang all my local dealers and big lease companies and was told none available. Soooooo glad I was told on here to try where I did. I at least have an order form for my deposit this time.

From Stoneacre? I placed my order with them and they couldn't produce an order form as it was a lease. I only received a card receipt with the deposit amount.

One thing to bear in mind when working out whether lease or buying will be cheaper is that nobody in their right mind will pay list price for a new car, especially with the deals flying around. You can easily go into a dealer and pay ~£23k for a new Cupra Black so for comparisons sake you need to ask yourself "Will a 2 year old Cupra be worth £16k-£17k?" Quite possibly yes.

Any suggestions as to which dealers will sell a cupra black for £23K? I am struggling to find one anywhere near that price!

Broker4cars and Autobid are quoting £23,100 but they are online brokers and there is a broker fee on top.

Okay so having considered the fact I can use the money from selling my car as a hefty initial payment I've found a 66(obviously) Leon FR 184 SC Titanium for £222.09 per month with 2605.88 upfront, totals 7773.15 over the 2 years with a 15,000 mile limit, thoughts?

Yep, Stoneacre.
Receipt and copy order form with name assigned to a Cupra Black.
Insurance that I checked on compare was £30 more a year than the FR I was going to get.

I've ordered a Cupra Black edition - £6k over the 2 years but 10k total miles.

If you need to do 30k total then that would be an extra 20k at 7.2p (this may have changed now, plus there may be limits on how far you can go over) which is £1,440 on top.

Yeah I will need that many miles I do a lot of motorway driving which is making me lean towards to FR diesel, plus the 290bhp is a bit of a jump from my 120 Corsa and it's not something I see as a sensible step personally, I know I'd over do it with that much punch

Diesel all the way at that mileage, otherwise who is paying your fuel bill. I had an FR Diesel and it was spot on, always got near 60mpg. You would struggle to get near 40 with Cupra. I'll be happy if I get 32+

Yeah by all means if I was plodding round town I'd be all over the cupra but the amount of distance I cover if I had a cupra down the M1 and A14 every weekend the temptation to stretch its legs so to speak would be too great
