I have a massive grin when i look at the mpg read out :D

Its a whole different animal to the gti. Just put my foot down and its off, had a local chav in his 106 gti sit on my back bumper earlier.........he got well and truely sooted!

6th on motorways is also fun ... no fuss, no drama ... just a steady build of speed. Around town i find it's better mpg in 2nd and 3rd rather than trying to get into 4th or higher. I can get 40mpg around town just keeping pace with traffic.

So a worthwhile change then, welcome to the dark evil smelly fuel side :cartman:

nice looking car is eds, did it still have the HID's on it? as they look mint, whats he having next? anyone know?

Nooooooooooooooo Jenk, what have you done. You've turned to the dark (sooty) side. I'm quite shocked you actually got a mk4 *cough* Diesel *cough* . Nothing against them but cant imagine making one of them very euro.

Very shocked indeed. But at least you got yourself a clean example.

# waits for 6 months when Jenk will come crawling back on his knees for another sweet handling mk2 ;) #

Enjoy the car mate

Mig

It's no mk2, but you could have done alot worse :D

And keep your signature PLEASE! Its the picture that made me drool at mk2 ibizas for the very first time! Awwww

Enjoy the new car :) You're only two sub-forums away from us!

I doubt ill be coming back to the mk2 side just yet. Maybe one day ill get one as a project. Dirty boost is the way forward, all that power and it still gets really good mpg.

Plans......i brought this car with the intentions of not touching it. Problem is i have started to think of wide 18"s, coilovers, arch rolling etc. etc.

Guys give the mk4 a chance ;)

Don't go 18's! They will ruin it!
