Led fogs

Do they "project" the light further than standard bulbs?


I'm not sure they do, but to be honest I never really used the standard ones so it's difficult to compare.
The LED's look nice though...

Looks like we have two choices.

Upgrade the halogen and a get close colour match with similar light levels or go for led bulbs with nearer/spot on colour match but less light projection.

Looks vs practically. :D

Considering fogs are for close range illumination and how often they are actually used - I would go for a colour match.

On my last car, I was running 6000k hids and I put osram nightbreaker plus bulbs in the fogs and they matched pretty well.....but don't know temperature of the leds.....?

With the hassle involved with replacing these, I reckon a fit and forget option is a good one. That's assuming the LED's work for longer than you own the car!

Yeah come to think of it if the factoy bulb goes it's bad enough. If someone can't manage them selves i can't see a dealer doing it FOC!

I have mitecs non led price vs performance and looks decided it for me but then I have an se !
