Anyone know if it's feasible to swap out the halogen headlights of a 2014 Toledo to LED units? Got the LEDs in my Leon, and they are vastly superior to halogens. Thanks

I've had the Mk4s with halogens and LEDs.
There is no comparison. The factory halogen bulbs are weedy yellow long-life efforts which are awful for night driving.
Drivers of the Skoda version with no LED option seem to go for Nightbreakers or similar to upgrade the standard units.

I guess the cost of the LED headlamps would make that upgrade very uneconomic ?

Thanks for your reply - it seems there are very few folk on this Toledo 4 subforum, far less than the Leon 3 one where I also mooch.......
I suppose it would all depend on if you can source the units at a reasonable price. I haven't got the car yet and won't be doing so for another couple of weeks, as I'm still not driving after a big shoulder operation a couple of weeks ago (car has been left to us in a will, and so unfortunately for me timing couldn't be further off if it tried, not helped with a 3 hour drive needed to go and get it!), but I've already sourced a rear ended salvage Xcellence which has factory LEDs and tempted to be cheeky in asking what I could get them for......
Just unsure how much other work there would be to do on a potential retrofit. I really don't want to start butchering the car - it's a 14 plate, owned by our friend who has passed away from brand new, and has just 6,600 miles on the clock - so basically a brand new car on 8 year old plates!)

I had a 14 1.2. Its a much better driving car than my 18 1.0.
The smaller engine is awful in comparison.
Should never have traded it.

Has anyone done this?
I believe the LED's have a 14-pin connector, as opposed to the 10-pin on the halogens.
Could the pinout for the pre-facelift Leon LED headlights be used as a reference perhaps?
@East Yorkshire Retrofits - Any experience with this?

I've recently bought a 2015 Toledo, and I have a set of headlights sitting on a shelf, would be really nice to be able to fit them.

could be used yes, but it has different signals... telling you cause Im on the same page... but the image I see for example the high light was 1 number on Leon but on my car its another one cause doesn't do the highlight fully
