Does this look right to you guys? Remember it is LHD...
Can anyone post a comparable pic of their cars?
Does this help?

Oh just realised yours is FL Mk3...not sure if same pattern then...plus is it not easier to see shone to a white wall?
Right side needs to come up or left needs to go down.I have another video - view, but would need to edit the plate out.
At a distance, the driver side is a fair bit higher than passenger side.
They just gave me the car back and I guess did nothing, since I was told "it is within the tolerance".
Well, I guess I will need to fix it myself
...the guy from the desk confirmed that there should be a ladder patrern, with the driver side being lower than passenger. Right now, it is not like that at all...
---edit--
Found the pic from a distance, once again, I remind this is a LHD car:
"Within tolerance" my ass...
"Within tolerance" my ass...
Oh yeah that's horrible! That can't be right. I've seen mention of altering the height on the pre-facelift models. Not sure if the updated ones are the same but I am sure someone will be able to advise.
Right side needs to come up or left needs to go down.
Easy enough to do yourself with an allen key
BUT - they don't even look in line with the car.
IIRC from my days of owning a projector headlight car with retro HIDs. The beam pattern would be higher on passenger side to show side of road further.
Do they auto level when turned on?

Yeah, I think even the horizontal alignment is off... Bunch of clowns.
I need to get the correct way to measure so that o can align it myself without depending on these clowns...
As you have access to VCDS/OBD11 Have you tried doing the basic settings process under control unit 55
You assume far more than we would give them credit for in the UKNot yet, but I would assume they are not THAT stupid
Maybe try an independent VAG garage in ur area
