Installed my new LED license plate lights from Bluecars today.
Everything works fine, no warnings on the display and lots of light behind the car.

Package contains:
- 2x LED license plate lamps
- 2x resistor (75 Ohm each)
- 2x split cables for connecting the lamps+resistors to the original connector.

They look very bright.

As I only have halogen headlights, maybe I'll fit those at the back plate and drive everywhere in reverse!

Don't know if the resistors get warm or even hot. They're placed inside a metal housing that probably has a cooling function. There are some small holes in these housings.
I used some epoxy glue to secure the resistors inside the rear bumper.
